---- Chapter 93 A few minutes ago, Lance, Soren, and Shawn sat before the floor-to-ceiling windows , talking business as they sipped their coffee. Lance looked out the window to the far left, where the courtyard was. With his hand in his pocket , he watched the housekeepers hastily gather the sheets and quilt covers outside. Abruptly , he froze as a familiar figure entered his sight. She wore a dress today.
This was the first time he saw her wearing any other clothes besides the dark winter clothes she wore last time. From his angle, she was in one corner of the window. He moved half a step to the right so she was in his blind spot. He could still see her in her plain dress that almost reached her ankles. Her movements were quick as she gathered the sheets from the clothesline . As she ran, the hem of her dress swayed along with her long, silky hair, making her look even more dazzling.
Soon, Tara appeared in the courtyard. Lance, Soren, and Shawn suddenly went silent, their eyes falling on Tara, who swept across the courtyard and disappeared, heading to the door. ---- Tara was hurrying to help gather the sheets outside and had almost forgotten her luggage at the door. She hurried to the villa's entrance, where Terence stood. He was about to have someone come over to help take her luggage back to her room when she came over.
With a smile, he said, "I was about to have someone take your luggage to your room." Panting , Tara answered , "Thanks , Mr. Oakley. I had to deal with something just now." She thought he hadn't seen her gathering the sheets on the patio just now, so she didn't bring the matter up. Terence nodded smilingly. He could see why Betty wailed and said that she missed Tara every day. Betty kept on asking him when Tara would return.

Tara walked into the villa with her luggage in hand and headed to her room. She started unpacking, and she made sure to hide Shawn's gift well. Just then, someone knocked on her door. Tara opened it to see Betty standing by the door with a meal cart behind her. From Betty's expression and stance, Tara sensed that she felt uneasy. Before this, Betty had accidentally dropped the glasses when she brought food and drinks upstairs . ---- The glasses were simply too slippery for her to hold.
Hence, whenever she was asked to take coffee and fruits upstairs, she would start panicking and lose the courage to go upstairs. The matter had quite an impact on her. The only way to solve this problem was to seek Tara's help. After all, Tara was efficient and highly careful with such matters. Betty feared she would lose her job if she broke another glass. Finding a high-paying job with a good employer like the one she currently had wasn't easy. "What's wrong?" Tara asked.
Betty was on the verge of tears. "Tara, Mr. Oakley asked me to take the coffee upstairs to Mr. Pearson . He wants me to take the fruits upstairs to the others, too. The four of them are in the living room on the second floor, but I don't dare to do it. Can you help me this time?" It was fine if Betty had to take the food to the four of them, respectively . They seldom gathered in the living room. Alas, she had to take the food to all of them this time.
Betty could only blame herself for being unlucky. Tara knew Betty must've had it bad after seeing how anxious the latter was. "I'm scared that I might break another glass... And I might lose this job. But Tara, I don't want to lose this job, ---- " Betty muttered. Tara gently patted Betty's hand to comfort her. "Things aren't that serious. I'll help you this time, but you'll have to get your courage back up next time." After all, Tara would leave in just four months. By then, Betty would have to deal with these things herself.
