Chapter 39 Now that Tara no longer showed any signs of trying to flirt with the members, Stella grew even more wary of her. All she wanted was to shun Tara as soon as possible. Stella couldn't let her get any closer to them. It was obvious that they were starting to soften up to Tara. Half an hour later, Tara got busy. Apart from not being familiar with where to place the tableware, everything else went smoothly.

The male leads had come to this place for a vacation to help spark their inspiration, and all three of their meals had to be delivered to their rooms. The villa had an elevator, so it was convenient to move between floors. Tara went to the kitchen to pick up lunch for Soren and Shawn. Placing each dish carefully onto the serving cart, she headed upstairs. Stella had gone up before her. Tara pushed the cart toward the elevator at the end of a long hallway.
On one side of the hallway was a huge floor-to-ceiling window, which offered a view of the snowy courtyard outside. A tall, handsome figure was building a snowman just beyond the glass. Soren was tying a scarf around the snowman's neck. When he glanced over with those bright, narrow eyes, Tara's slim figure pushing the cart came into view. He dusted the snow off his leather gloves and strode toward the villa. He pushed the door open. Covered in snow, Soren approached Tara.

As he got closer, she could feel the chill still clinging to him. Tara only gave him a polite smile when he was near her. She had intended to act as though she hadn't noticed him. "Hello, Mr. Farrell," Soren's eyes crinkled slightly in a smile. He looked as charming as ever. "Hold on!" Tara didn't understand and kept pushing the cart. "Mr. Farrell, I'm delivering lunch to you and Mr. Wilhelm." If she waited any longer, the food would get cold.

Seeing that she was still trying to leave, Soren reached out and grabbed her arm gently. The softness of her skin made his heart skip a beat. He steadied himself and lazily gestured toward the window with a tilt of his chin. Tara had been trying to pull her arm free, but his sudden motion distracted her. She followed his gaze. There was now a round, plump snowman where Soren had just been. It was wearing his deep brown scarf. Soren suddenly leaned in extremely close to her.

His face was right next to hers. His gaze drifted slowly over her breathtaking features. "Don't you think it looks like you?" he asked softly. Tara looked at the chubby snowman outside, she was not able to figure out which part of it looked like her. "I look more like you," she replied flatly. Soren clearly hadn't expected that. He let out a laugh, and the hand that had been gripping her arm moved as if to drape over her shoulder. But Tara sidestepped just in time. "Mr.

Farrell, it's inappropriate of us to get this physical." He really liked throwing his arm around people's shoulders. He even did it with Russell while acting all buddy-buddy. But he had never done it with women before. Tara had no idea when he started doing it with. Soren pulled his hand back, but he didn't miss the chance to tease her.
"You didn't say that back when you were dropping hints to me." Memories from the original bust surfaced in her mind - those suggestive remarks from before made Tara's cheeks flush. The original host really had guts. As she lowered her eyes in embarrassment, Soren didn't realize how captivating she looked at this moment. Soren stared at her without blinking. His heart rate was completely out of control.

"That was before." The flustered Tara pushed the cart toward the elevator, clearly not planning to engage further. Soren wasn't in a rush to react besides, and was still waiting for his. Soren followed her at a relaxed pace. The two of them entered the elevator one after the other. Suddenly, he leaned closer and turned his gaze toward her. "If you dropped me a hint right now, I might just say yes to being your boyfriend," he remarked. His voice was magnetic and charming.

Tara didn't take him seriously. She thought he was past teasing her again. "I'm just a lowly housekeeper, not worthy of someone as distinguished as you, Mr. Farrell. I dare not to hope for that much." Having said that, the elevator doors opened, and she pushed the cart out. Soren followed behind, which was a flattering. Tara didn't think much of it. Soren's mind was unpredictable, and she had no interest in trying to figure them out. Shawn's room was farther down the hall. Tara pushed the cart into Soren's room first.
