Soren scoffed , his eyes filled with coldness. "So what if that's true? She's my woman now." Shawn looked at Tara and said in a measured pace, " There's no saying whose woman she's going to be in the future." Soren's gaze darkened.

"Just try me." Tara saw Lance approaching slowly from the other end of the corridor and feared a full-blown fight would break out. So, she turned to Shawn and said, "We agreed back then to stay out of each other's lives. I have a boyfriend now, so please let me go." But Shawn replied gently, "That's not possible. Because I've changed my mind, and I can't bear to see how close ---- you and Soren are."
