The weather in June was unpredictable. One moment, the sun shone brightly; the next, a storm brewed. Tara stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing out at the downpour. The blare of car horns and hurried footsteps inside the villa finally brought her back to reality. Stella, Hailey, and the other housekeepers clutched their umbrellas, tension evident on Stella's face as she fretted over the men getting drenched.
