With the group set to return to their home country ina week, Tara couldn't risk forgetting to remove the number later.
The consequences could range from a pay deduction to a hefty breach -of-contract penalty -neither of which she could afford while saving her salary. Pushing the cart, she calmly approached Soren's room. She paused to take a few deep breaths before knocking lightly. As expected, Soren opened the door himself. Tara avoided his intense gaze, focusing instead on her task. "Mr. Farrell, I've brought your dinner," she said politely. Soren shifted aside just enough for her to enter.
His heated stare followed her as she wheeled the cart into the room. Tara quickened her movements, heading straight for the ---- dining table. She was acutely aware of Soren trailing closely on her left. His presence loomed large, but she kept her eyes on the task, setting the table with practiced efficiency. "Please enjoy your meal, Mr. Farrell," she said, turning to retrieve the cart. But before she could grasp its handle, Soren's hand closed around her right arm.

2 He leaned slightly closer, his voice low and almost conspiratorial . "Didn't you say we should work on our relationship? Is this what you meant by that?" Tara's heart skipped a beat. That was just an excuse she used to get away last time. She scrambled for another excuse. "I still have to deliver dinner to Mr. Wilhelm. Besides, I'm still on duty. I can't discuss personal matters right now." Soren held her gaze for a moment longer, but then, to her relief, he released her arm.
"Go on, then," he said, his tone a mix of irritation and resignation. + Tara, growing accustomed to his unpredictable mood swings, wasted no time. She pushed the meal cart out of his room without hesitation, her movements brisk. Soren watched her leave, his expression inscrutable . He then pulled out a chair and sat down with an air of composure as he began to eat. Whatever thoughts ---- occupied him remained a mystery. Tara, now outside, didn't dare linger.
She moved on to the next task, her mind racing as she knocked on Shawn's door. There was no response. Oddly, the door was slightly ajar, raising her curiosity. She knocked again. "Mr. Wilhelm?" she called, her voice tentative. After waiting for over two minutes without a reply, Tara wondered if the room was empty. Deciding she could return later and reheat the food if necessary, she started to pull the door closed. Just then, she heard his voice.
Accompanied by the sound of running water, Shawn called out, "Come in." Was he showering? She paused , deliberating whether it was appropriate to enter. Moments later, Shawn's voice rang out again, urging her inside. Pushing the meal cart into the room, Tara set about arranging his dinner on the table. Her hands moved quickly and steadily, despite the sound of water still running in the background. Just then, Shawn called out to her. "Tara?"
